Propylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat., 15% Azelaic Acid, Aqua (Water), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, 5% Lactic Acid (L), 3% Kojic Acid, 2% Salicylic Acid, 1% Ascorbic Acid (L), Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Sodium Hydroxide.

KEY ACTIVES:
Hydroquinone (2%):
Skin lightener, inhibits melanin production

Kojic Acid:
Inhibits melanin production by Inhibiting tyrosinase, provides gradual and continual skin lightening to relieve skin discolorations

Azelaic Acid:
Inhibits tyrosinase activity to reduce pigmentation spotting, anti-bacterial,
anti-inflammatory

Lactic Acid (L):
An Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that hydrates and exfoliates, reducing wrinkles and pigmentation discolorations

Salicylic Acid:
A Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA), provides exfoliation preventing pore clogging and smoothing fine lines/wrinkles, stimulates new cell growth, reduces inflammation

Ascorbic Acid (L):
Vitamin C (water soluble), antioxidant, strengthens collagen, assists in lightening, provides anti-wrinkle effects, smoothes skin texture

HOW TO:
Apply a small spot amount of ILLUMINATE HQ Serum to the darkened skin area(s) or entire face, or as directed by a doctor. Use once or twice daily. Limit daily use to 3 months – wait one to three months before resuming. Discontinue use if improvement is not seen after 6 weeks.  

Sensitivity Test for a New User. Apply product sparingly to one or two small affected areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, follow the directions stated above. 

PRECAUTIONS:
For external use only. Keep out of reach from children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Avoid contact with eyes. Some of the users of this product may experience milk skin irritation. Is skin irritation becomes severe, stop use and consult a doctor. Do not use on children under 12 years of age unless directed by a doctor. If pregnant, consult with a doctor prior to use. The Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids (AHA/BHA) in this product may increase sun sensitivity – wear sunscreen or protective clothing during use to protect against sunburn. Continue sun protection after the lightening regimen to avoid UV-induced pigmentations. The Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids (AHA/BHA) in this product may result in a mild exfoliation of this skin – this is normal, and will subside with continued use.
